Famous Last Words: Last Weeks of School
I really enjoyed my reading for week 13. Nursery Rhymes are my favorite, and being able to write a story that included them was a lot of fun. Being able to incorporate Alice Through the Looking Glass was a thrill as well; it was one of my favorite stories when I was little. My
other classes are going decently well. I
am in mainly engineering classes, so I have not been able to connect what I
learn in this class to other classes, but I do enjoy discussing things that I
learn in this class with my friends and family.
I
read some really great stories this week.
One was really creative, in a sense that it portrayed Greek mythology in
a college campus setting. The names were
super creative, and I want to come up with a story like that. I also am thinking about a story that I read
a few weeks ago that was written like a play.
That was super interesting to read.
One is able to communicate with an audience in stead of a reader.
Next week I would like to get everything done pretty
early. Unfortunately, I did not take
advantage of the extra credit earlier in the semester, and am doing everything
I can to catch up to make an A in the class.
I wish I had been doing the extra credit all along, because these
reflection posts are pretty fun and have been beneficial. I have two tests coming up this week, as well
as filling out a lot of paperwork for my job, so I need to practice
concentration to be able to get through this week. I hope that I do well in everything; the mail
goal is to not get stressed out. Everything
is possible if I don’t avoid it.
I picked this picture because I need the reminder that I can do it.

Hi Kathleen! I too read nursery rhymes last week and found them to be very interesting! It brought back many memories from my childhood. I really enjoyed reading through Alice and Wonderland, for I had not read that book in many years! I like the picture you shared, because it is a woman empowering us to let us know that we can make it through the end of the semester! Only 3 more weeks, we can do it!
